'Ive been coaching for 2 years.
I recently quit my job to go back into coaching and personal training full time as I love pushing people to achieve their goals and learning new skills in the gym which transfer over to everyday life.
I have just completed doing a movement mechanics course to help people come back from injury and imbalances and perform better in the gym. l've dealt with a lot of injuries that have taken me out of training so I want to learn and offer a service which helps people get back to the day-to-day life pain-free and continue the movements and sports they love again. Be on the lookout for this service soon!
I look forward to seeing you in the classes! And welcome anyone who would like to discuss personal training to reach out me here' - Liam Burke

"First and foremost, I hate any attention on me so this is hard.
I'm a teacher by profession but I always felt that it was the extra stuff that really mattered. I was drawn to adventurous things and have taken young people up mountains on expeditions as a mountain leader, into deep water as a scuba instructor and even on backpacking adventures combining the two. Within this I always created opportunities for self-reflection and celebration.
I enjoy the physical stuff and can almost divide my movement adventures into decades. In my teens I did horse riding and cycling (mostly to get around!). In my twenties I did less horse riding but more mountaineering, climbing and kickboxing. In my thirties I kept the mountains but discovered sailing. And then in my forties I still kept the mountains but started running, did a few half marathons, a Marathon and a bit of Les Mills stuff.....and then I discovered training with functional movements! And it was a revelation. Constantly varied movement! It has enabled me to carry my injured dog off a mountain, pick my Dad off the floor, post a sofa through a window and do a half Marathon and Tough Mudder in one weekend. There's never a dull moment!
I've been really fortunate to be able to travel and have made drop ins at various gyms in Australia, New Zealand, JAE, Thailand and all over the Uk and Ireland. It's been wonderful to be temporarily welcomed into these communities and I hope I make visitors to Forest Flow feel the same welcome.
So here I am in my (late) fifties, doing what I love, which is moving and proving that we can do the unexpected. Now, as a CF-L1 coach I have the absolute privilege of being able to suggest that others can do the same."

"So I started training about 3.5 years ago and instantly fell in love with it, right in the middle of my taster sessions I thought "I really want to do this" ...fast forward a few years I've done my Level 1 CF qualification and am now teaching Kids classes! I absolutely love cheering people on to get that PB and when they do I'm honestly as delighted as if it was my own PB. I always think I wish I'd started my fitness journey sooner so couldn't be happier to play a small part in teaching kids from a young age"
